Nollywood actress turn Evangelist Tonto Dikeh through her Foundation, has launched an initiative donating 30 laptops to three secondary schools in Abuja,
According to Dikeh, this is in partnership with My Evangelism Outreach is to help bridge the technology gap in education by enhancing digital access and support technology-driven education.
Each school will receive 10 laptops. The rollout began successfully with the delivery of the first 10 laptops to JSS Durumi II.
Students at the school can now access online research materials, develop computer skills, participate in interactive lessons, and explore educational platforms that were previously out of reach.
The remaining two schools are scheduled to receive their allocations in the coming weeks, completing the first phase of the project.
The program as highlighted by Dikeh, is designed to equip young students with vital digital skills essential for success in the modern world as we embrace digitalization.
By addressing the digital divide that often restricts opportunities in under-resourced schools, the donation helps to promotes greater educational equity and prepares students to thrive in an increasingly technology-focused society.
