Controversial Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has launched her own ministry, New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), describing it as “a spiritual home of consecrated believers”.
The 41-year-old actress made this known via her Instagram page on Sunday, where she disclosed that the ministry exists as a “dwelling place of God’s presence” for vibrant Christians “hungry for genuine revival and transformation”.
The mother of one also added that the ministry’s vision is “to see a global awakening of consecrated believers operating in the raw power, purity, and presence of God transforming nations”.
She added that NWPT’s mission includes building “an interdenominational altar of prayer and revival.”
Dikeh clarified that NWPT is not a conventional church but rather a gathering of those consecrated and equipped for God.
“NEW WINE PROPHETIC TABERNACLE (NWPT) @nwpt_global is an interdenominational altar, spiritual home, and global movement of consecrated believers called to experience the raw power, purity, and presence of God,” the post reads.
“Grounded in the foundational truth of Scripture “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins..” (Mark 2:22).
“NWPT exists as a dwelling place of His presence for those who refuse to settle for lukewarm Christianity and are hungry for genuine revival, fire, and transformation.”
The ministry will meet for weekly fellowship every Friday at 6pm at Omini Grand Hotel, which used to be called Alexis Hotel. The venue is upstairs by Masalachi Junction in Jabi, Federal Capital Territory.
Dikeh started her spiritual journey last year after she publicly dedicated her life to God. She is also an active member of Jerry Eze’s NSPPD ministry.
The actress has shared that, since embracing her faith, she has overcome sexual immorality, anger, masturbation, and addiction.
