Top 5 Ex BBNaija Housemates That Have Maintained Relevance

Big Brother Naija is the most significant reality show in Nigeria and has provided a breeding ground for celebrities and famous icons. The first season aired in 2006, and since then, it has grown so much that many people are convinced that their only road to fame is through BBNaija.

Nigerians are quick to move on from anything. Still, some housemates have remained active in the entertainment industry; even though there have been other winners and housemates since then.  Here are five former BBNaija housemates who have shown that they are more than just one season of a reality TV show.

1. Ebuka Obi- Uchendu

The 2006 BBNaija contestant has proven beyond doubt that he is here to stay in the industry. Although he didn’t win his season nor emerged as a runner-up, Ebuka is popular for his unique fashion sense and his charming on-air personality.

He is now a media personality. He hosted BBNaija for the past three seasons and is also the host of Rubbin Minds and Judging Matters.

2. Bisola Aiyeola

The actress was the 1st runner-up in the 2nd season of Big Brother Naija. She is a singer and an actress and has been featured in top movies like Chief Daddy, Perfect Picture, Sugar Rush, etc. Her quirky and funny personality has endeared her to many, and we hope to see more of her on-screen.

3. Tobi Bakre

He emerged as the 2nd runner up in BBNaija Double Wahala, which was the third season of Bbn. From bagging endorsement deals to starring in top Nollywood movies, Tobi has shown that you don’t need to win the reality show before becoming successful.

4. Gideon Okeke

Just so you know how successful Gideon’s acting career is, I knew him as an actor way before I found out he was a housemate in the 2006 big brother. Gideon became a familiar face after he bagged himself a role in the popular TV series, Tinsel.  He has been in movies like When Love Happens, 93 Days, Saro the Musicals and more.

5. Cynthia Nwadiora

Popularly known as Cee-c, the ex-Big Brother Naija housemate emerged as the runner-up for the 2018 edition.  She used her popularity well as she has bagged numerous endorsement deals in fashion, fitness, and other niches and is looking into more. The lawyer and businesswoman always has her eyes on the bag, and she isn’t afraid to go after it.
