Anderson “Anda” Damisa, a Nigerian content creator, poet, and digital influencer widely known as Lazywrita, has shared a disturbing farewell message to his loved ones.
In the emotional caption alongside recent photos shared on his only social media account, Damisa wrote:
“Don’t cry for me, please o… I lived a full and adventurous life, people who know me can testify, but I just don’t have the energy to continue anymore. Now, I am Happy, Unburdened and FREEEEEE !!!”
Speaking on his only regrets, he wrote: “The only things i regret is not watching the new episodes of Stranger Things 😩 and not getting married to the LOML when I had a chance to till she moved on. She’s reading this.”
He added, “Please don’t cry and don’t shoulder any blame regardless of everything we went through. Through my happiest and saddest days, You were the best thing that ever happened to me. I wan’t you to LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH, MAKE BABIES and be HAPPY! […] I love you Nene, Mary, Israel, Wadi, Roy, I would choose you all to be my family over and over and over and over again. […] Rest well Anda 🕊️”
Damisa explained that he had deleted his other social media accounts and kept only one active to deliver this final message directly, ensuring no false narratives emerged and reassuring friends and family that he was “good and in a better place.”
His final words stand as both a goodbye and a gentle call to cherish life, relationships, and joy. Lazywrita leaves behind a lasting legacy in Nigeria’s creative and influencer community.
