Former Big Brother Naija housemate turned Nollywood actress, Bisola Aiyeola, recently hosted a lavish celebration in honor of her daughter, Leyla, who turned 16. Overflowing with joy, Bisola took to her Instagram page on June 12 to share heartwarming photos and videos of her daughter to mark the milestone.
The birthday bash, held at an exclusive venue, was a star-studded affair attended by notable names in the entertainment industry. Celebrities like Kiekie, Bimbo Ademoye, Funke Akindele, Wizkid’s son Boluwatife Balogun and his mother Shola Ogudu, as well as Bisola’s baby daddy, were all present to celebrate with the family.
Clips from the ceremony that surfaced online showed vibrant moments, including Kiekie dancing with Leyla and a sweet scene where Funke Akindele danced and shared a warm hug with the birthday girl.
However, one noticeable absence, was that of popular Nollywood actress cum film maker, Toyin Abraham, especially given her close relationship with Aiyeola earlier in their careers. Also, former housemates of the popular Big Brother Naija show were absent from the event.
Meanwhile, a touching highlight of the celebration was when the dance floor was cleared, giving Bisola and her daughter a special moment to dance together, drawing applause and admiration from guests.
Bisola Aiyeola appeared on the 2017 series of Big Brother Naija reality TV show where she was the first runner-up. She was also a contestant of the MTN Project Fame West Africa in 2008 where she came 5th.
From 2011 to 2013, she was a one-time TV host of Billboard Nigeria which aired on Silverbird Television.
She was, in 2017, nominated for City People Movie Award for Revelation of the Year (English).
In 2018, Aiyeola would later win the Trail Blazer Award at the AMVCA. She also made her debut as a producer on ‘The Kujus’.
