
Dharmendra, the iconic Bollywood actor known as the “He-Man” of Indian cinema, has passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 89.
His death has sent shockwaves throughout the Indian film industry, with fans, colleagues, and politicians paying tribute to his legendary career.

Dharmendra had a storied career spanning over six decades, with more than 300 films to his name. He was known for his versatility, charisma, and iconic performances in films like “Sholay” and “Satyakam”.
He was a true legend of Indian cinema, and his contributions to the industry will be remembered for generations to come.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Dharmendra, saying, “The passing of Dharmendra Ji marks the end of an era in Indian cinema. He was an iconic film personality, a phenomenal actor who brought charm and depth to every role he played.” Other notable figures, including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, also paid their respects to the legendary actor.
Dharmendra’s last rites was held at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai, where friends, family, and fans gathered to pay their last respects. His wife, Hema Malini, and daughter, Esha Deol, were present at the funeral, along with other family members.
