The father of Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi, Sunday Ndidi, was laid to rest today in his hometown of Umunede in Delta State, as family members, friends and well-wishers gathered to pay their final respects.
The burial ceremony was attended by relatives, community leaders and associates of the football star, who came together to honour the life and legacy of the late Mr Ndidi.
The solemn event featured traditional rites and religious observances, reflecting the cultural heritage of the Umunede community. Mourners described the late patriarch as a respected figure who played a significant role in the lives of those around him.
