Trouble Looms For Blessing CEO as Delta NMA Confirms Report Belongs to Different Patient

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Delta State Branch, has officially disowned a histology report circulating online and attributed to popular relationship coach Blessing Okoro, known as Blessing CEO.

In a statement signed by Chairman Dr. Israel Adaigho and Secretary Usamah Hannah, the association revealed that the document was altered from an original result issued to Miss Mbara Deborah, a genuine breast cancer patient.

The NMA clarified that the report was originally issued on May 9, 2025, by Xinus Medical Diagnostics in Asaba, Delta State.

The test was requested by a doctor from a private hospital in Asaba as a confirmatory breast cancer examination for Mbara. The laboratory, owned by consultant pathologist Dr. O.A. Odigwe (an NMA member), never issued any report to Okoro.

According to the statement, the original result bearing Mbara’s full details was later released publicly by the law firm Allen Juris Law.

The association stressed that the clarification was necessary because the altered report “is now being used for” purposes that could mislead the public.

On March 25, she posted a tearful video announcing a stage four breast cancer diagnosis, shaved her head, and appealed for donations, raising at least N13 million. She has since denied claiming stage four cancer, describing it as possible miscommunication, and insisted she owes no apology.

Calls for investigation and possible arrest have intensified.
