Gospel singer, Victoria Orenze has reacted to the murder of a United States right-wing activist, Charlie Kirk who died after being shot at a university in Utah.
According to reports, Krik, a close ally of President Donald Trump and founder of the conservative student group Turning Point USA, was fatally shot in the neck during a campus event at Utah Valley University.
Reacting to the incident, Trump, in a post on Truth Social, called for prayers for Kirk, hailing the deceased as “legendary.”
“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
He added, “He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania’s and my sympathies go out to his beautiful wife, Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”
The US authorities said they have detained a suspect in the fatal shooting.
Reacting, Orenze via her Instagram page, mourned the deceased, noting that until death, he was a true solider of christ.
She also added that the truth will not be silenced, killed or stopped.
In her words: “Truth cannot be killed, Truth cannot be silenced Truth cannot be stopped. Charlie Kirk a true soldier of CHRIST is with THE TRUTH (JESUS CHRIST)!!! What glory!
“Satan for every time you try and an army rise instead! WE ARE NOT AFRAID!!!!! His wife, children and family are wrapped by the comfort of the HOLY GHOST in JESUS name!
“We are clearly in the last days, Believers!!! We must boldly stand for JESUS CHRIST (THE TRUTH)!!!!!!! We can’t play church anymore!!!! These times were foretold! John 16:2.”
Charlie Kirk was a champion for conservative youth and a devoted Christian.
His wife, Erika Kirk posted a Bible verse just hours before he was shot at a Utah event: “Psalm 46:1 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
