South African singer Tyla has won another major award, taking home the ‘Outstanding International Song’ prize at the 2026 NAACP Image Awards.

The annual event, organised by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), honours outstanding achievements by artists of colour in film, television, music, and literature.

Tyla’s win put her ahead of several well-known Nigerian music stars who were also nominated in the same category.

Burna Boy was nominated for his song ‘Love,’ Davido for ‘With You,’ a collaboration with Omah Lay, and Tiwa Savage for ‘You4Me.’
