Nigerian content creator and comedian Amarachi Amusi, popularly known as Ashmusy, has firmly reaffirmed her ownership of a luxurious four-duplex mansion in Lekki amid escalating online backlash sparked by a real estate company’s explosive claim.
The controversy ignited earlier today when @superblachomes, the Instagram account of a Lagos-based realtor, posted screenshots of the property listing, captioning it: “Ignore the lies. This property was never acquired by your fave and is still very much available for sale.”
The statement directly referenced Ashmusy, who in a mid-2025 video tour celebrated the home as her latest achievement, directing it to years of hard work and thanking God for the blessing. The post, which has since gone viral, accused her of pushing away potential buyers who think the multimillion-naira estate was off the market.
In a swift video response posted to her Instagram story, the 29-year-old influencer expressed shock and frustration over the allegations. “You all wake up and decide my house doesn’t belong to me? I am just on my lane doing my work,” she stated, laughing off the claims while insisting the property is hers.
Adding more evidence of her ownership of the property, the influencer shared videos of her getting the land and going back there frequently to check on the building construction of the house with her captioning it: “So I went through this just to look big in instagram???”
Fans are however, divided by both claims of ownership of the mansion from the real estate comatose and the influencer who has shunned all allegations with video proofs.
