Uriel Oputa, the reality TV star and singer has opened up about the secret behind her youthful appearance, attributing it to a stress-free lifestyle and intentional wellness practices.
The 37-year-old, in a candid Instagram post, explained that she deliberately avoids the daily pressure and chaos many Nigerians subject themselves to, which she believes contributes to premature aging.

“When people say I look young for my age, I just say, ‘DUH,’” she wrote. “I’m not doing half of what Nigeria is doing to itself.”
Uriel emphasized her commitment to maintaining peace, both mentally and physically. She avoids stress, refuses to engage in arguments, and walks away from anything that threatens her peace. “Cortisol levels? Low,” she noted, referring to the stress hormone often linked to aging.
Unlike many, Uriel keeps her skincare simple and intentional. She avoids random skincare concoctions and heavy makeup, sticking to the basics: sunscreen, Vitamin C, and shea butter, which she calls her “anti-aging holy trinity.”
The health-conscious star also starts her mornings with ginger and turmeric shots to fight inflammation and follows a clean diet focused on complex carbs, lean proteins, and even a little dark chocolate for balance. “I eat once or twice a day, and I stay hydrated,” she added.
Beyond diet and skincare, Uriel stays on top of her health with regular full-body checkups, hormone tests, and blood work every few months. She also protects her peace by maintaining a small circle and avoiding unnecessary drama.
“I don’t live above my means. If I can’t afford it, it’s not for me. Peace is wealth,” she declared, rounding off a post that reflects her dedication to intentional living, self-care, and longevity.
