Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has intervened in the controversy surrounding the alleged kidnapping of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) President, Atiku Abubakar Isah.
The NANS President reported an attack by thugs during the association’s inauguration ceremony in Abuja, claiming the attackers were armed and stole personal belongings, resulting in injuries.
VDM demanded answers from Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, regarding the allegations. He stated that Atiku wouldn’t have mentioned Seyi Tinubu if he wasn’t involved, alleging that Atiku must have been threatened to tender an apology after accusing Seyi Tinubu’s associates of kidnapping him.

Atiku Abubakar Isah claims he was kidnapped after rejecting a ₦100 million bribe from Seyi Tinubu to secure support for President Tinubu’s administration. Atiku has filed a suit at the Federal High Court in Abuja seeking ₦38.3 billion in damages over alleged abduction and torture. However, a group named Friends of Seyi Tinubu (FOST) denied any interference in NANS leadership matters, describing the accusations as baseless and malicious.
