Venita Akpofure, a former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) contestant, has responded to a social media users comment regarding her past clash with fellow housemate Doyin during the BBNaija All Stars season in 2023.
One of the users had claimed that Venita must still be having nightmares from Doyin’s harsh words, which described Venita as a “mean girl” who thrives on belittling others.
Doyin had made these comments during a live eviction show, stating, “I think she is a very mean girl. I think she thrives on belittling people, antagonizing people. When she is not cool with you, she wants the entire space to not be comfortable for you to live in.”
She clapped back saying: “No I don’t. I don’t need to be promoted or have a battery put in my back. I need another persons to offer me a platform to use my voice and I didn’t go home”
Venita however threaten to sue another user who claimed that most people in the entertainment industry confirmed Doyin’s remarks about her.
The comment read: “Everything she said about Venita is nothing but the truth. Most people from the industry confirmed this that day, quite sad the white lady is still holding onto her disgusting attitude.” Venita replied saying: “Which people in the industry? Can you stop propagating sh*t before you find yourself sued for defamation. My career is over solid but y’all lol demons just following rubbish.”
