In a recent statement, Nigerian controversial activist VeryDarkMan has expressed concerns about the handling of the Mohbad case, particularly in relation to the investigation and the narratives surrounding it.
He questioned the circumstances under which Mohbad’s body was handled after his death and suggested that if his father had been influential or wealthy, the case would have been handled differently. According to VeryDarkMan, the fact that Mohbad’s body was embalmed before his father could see it raises suspicions. He believes that if Mohbad’s father had been a rich man, everyone involved would have been questioned and the truth would have come out.
His words; “If Mohbad’s father was a rich man, you think this case will be like this? If he was a rich man and he went to his son’s house and saw that he had already been embalmed, do you think anybody will leave that house? Everybody will be arrested and they must say what happened to Mohbad. The truth will surely come out when they gather all of them”
VeryDarkMan also questioned the narrative surrounding Mohbad’s death, suggesting that a premeditated plan was put in place. He asked about the events leading up to Mohbad’s death, including where the body was taken from and who was present in the house. Additionally, VeryDarkMan mentioned tweets from two Twitter influencers, Pooja and Mbah, who claimed that a DNA test had been conducted and confirmed the paternity of Mohbad’s child. He gave them 24 hours to defend their tweets, expressing disappointment if they were paid to make the statements.
VeryDarkMan concluded by warning anyone who advised him to stop seeking justice for Mohbad, stating that they would face consequences. Recall that Mohbad a former artiste under the Marlians Record owned by Naira Marley, passed away tragically on the 12th of September, 2023, at the age of 27. He died after being treated for an infection by an unlicensed nurse who administered injections that triggered a reaction, leading to his death as reported.
The case continues to generate controversy and speculation, with many calling for a thorough investigation and justice for Mohbad.
