Social media critic and activist Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has sparked a firestorm of controversy after launching a scathing verbal attack on the father of Big Brother Naija winner, Ilebaye Odiniya.
In a series of intense remarks, the commentator warned the reality star to distance herself from her father, whom he described as evil and over-ambitious.
VeryDarkMan claimed that, after closely monitoring the man’s recent public statements and actions, he concluded that Ilebaye’s father is a calculating politician who prioritises his personal gain over his daughter’s well-being.
He alleged that the father’s support for Ilebaye was merely a strategic move to further his own political interests, and that his demeanor changed when things did not go according to his script.

“After listening to Ilebaye’s dad intensively, I realised how evil the man is,” VeryDarkMan stated. “My advice to Ilebaye is that she should stay away from that man as much as she can. That man is an over-ambitious politician and a very well-calculated one too.”
The critic went further to make a shocking allegation of physical abuse, suggesting that the father’s frustration led to violence.
“When he noticed that things didn’t go the way he wanted, he started beating Ilebaye. A lot of things gave him out,” he claimed.

In a final, chilling assertion, VeryDarkMan suggested that the father would go to extreme lengths to secure power.
“He’s the kind of man that can sacrifice Ilebaye for men to sleep with just so he can get what he wants,” he added, urging the “Gen-Z Baddie” to protect herself from the alleged toxicity within her own family.
