Controversial activist and social media personality VeryDarkMan — Martins Vincent Otse, has brutally rejected Human Rights advocate, Harrison Gwamnishu’s freshly released apology video, branding it insincere damage control and accusing the Behind Bars Initiative founder of having “no conscience” and being “very evil.”
Hours after Gwamnishu posted the apology on Instagram—where he expressed regret over poor accountability with resources, he apologized directly to VeryDarkMan, described him as someone he holds in high esteem, and offered to resolve issues privately.

In the intense reply, VeryDarkMan accused Gwamnishu and his team of approaching the wife of a kidnapped Edo State man who is still held captive “in the bush”, with a shocking proposition: they would help raise funds to secure the victim’s release only if the family publicly defended Harrison and performed “damage control” on his behalf.

According to VeryDarkMan, the team demanded the wife sign a written statement declaring that Harrison never stole any money from the ransom, and promised they would approach the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to affirm his innocence.

VeryDarkMan then insisted that the apology video is not genuine remorse but a calculated strategy, stating: “You are very evil and you have no conscience… We don’t need your apology, CONFESS. You are not remorseful.”
Issuing a stern warning to Gwamnishu, VeryDarkMan said: “If anything happens to that man in the bush… hmmm. Go and pay the remaining money to the kidnappers and rescue the man.”
