Veteran Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has publicly dissociated himself from a video involving his son, Sean Michael Ike, and Jaruma, a public figure.
In a statement shared on social media, Ike expressed concerns over the content of the video and demanded that his name and image be removed from it.
He wrote: “If you know what’s good for you, remove my name and picture from all your rubbish contents of indecent posts immediately. I have nothing to do with your products and I dissociate myself from your brand.”

Addressing his son, the veteran actor stated that he had previously supported his education and had plans for his future, including studying and working abroad. However, he expressed disappointment with the choices Michael saying: “Michael, I sent you to the university, and your mother pulled you out, when you were about to enter year 2, told you school na scam, encouraged you to become an influencer , singer and actor LIKE ME and you will BLOW… SO, IS THIS IT?”
The actor emphasised his commitment to maintaining a positive public image, which he has built through his work noting that his legal team is reportedly reviewing the situation.
