The family of legendary Juju musician King Sunny Ade has come forward to assure the public that the iconic singer is safe and sound, contrary to circulating rumors about his alleged disappearance.
The clarification as reported by eelive.ng, comes after Damilola, one of King Sunny Ade’s daughters, took to social media to express concern over her father’s whereabouts, accusing her brother Dayo, who manages their father’s affairs, of holding him in an undisclosed location against his will.

In a statement released to address the situation, Dayo Adegeye dismissed the allegations as “malicious” and intended to tarnish his father’s reputation. “We want to assure the public that King Sunny Ade is safe and sound. There is no truth to the kidnapping rumor, and we are taking appropriate steps to address the situation and identify those responsible for spreading this false information,” the statement read.
The family further reassured fans and well-wishers that King Sunny Ade has not been abducted or kidnapped by anyone. “The Adegeye family and King Sunny Ade’s team are working diligently to put an end to the rumor and protect his reputation. The public can rest assured that King Sunny Ade is in good health and spirits, and his focus remains on his music and legacy.”
