Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is celebrating a major family milestone after her daughter, Meraiah Ekeinde, announced her engagement.
Meraiah, an apparel product developer also known as Mimi, shared a romantic video on social media earlier this week.
The clip captured a beachside proposal and showed her flashing a her engagement ring, with the simple caption “New chapter.”
On Saturday, the happy mum reposted the video on her Instagram page and expressed her joy. “Have you heard? My twinnie is engaged! I guess we have a wedding to plan! Congratulations to the lovebirds,” the veteran actress wrote.

Meraiah is one of four children of Omotola and her husband, Captain Matthew Ekeinde. The couple, who have been married since 1996, also have Princess, Matthew (MJ) and Michael.
