
Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko popularly called Simi, has called out men who seek attention or sympathy right after their wives give birth, pointing out how the focus should remain on the mother’s recovery and the newborn rather than shifting to the father.
In a viral clip circulating on social media, the singer who welcomed her twins this month, humorously asked why the complaint saying: “Why is it that what a woman is pregnant or about to give birth no body use to ask that how is the daddy?”

She called out the mindset, emphasising that the woman endures immense physical and emotional changes, labor, and postpartum recovery. Simi questioned the logic of men feeling sidelined while the woman places her life in the line to bring forth another human to the whole and sometimes end up having tear or need to be cut to bring the child to life.
Netizens have taken to social media to share their opinion on her discourse, some backed the new mother who has made her comeback on social media after months off nothing the pains of contraction, fibroid pain, after pain of being stitched up among other pains. Some men under the comment section have vowed to cherish any woman who carries their children.
