Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage paused her UK concert when she spotted her former English teacher in the crowd during her performance at the Little Simz’ Meltdown Festival in London.
Without hesitation, Tiwa paused her set, stepped off the stage, and warmly hugged her former teacher.
The touching moment was captured on video, with fans going wild and screaming in excitement. Those seated nearby took advantage of the opportunity to snap close-up pictures and videos with the Afrobeats star.

The mother of one was in the news earlier this weekend for a reason that is not as exciting as the one at her London performance.
Her estranged husband, Tee Billz, called out her manager, Vanessa, for overbooking her so much that she doesn’t get to spend time with their son, Jamal.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Tee Billz wrote, “I love the mother of my child, God will expose you! You only care about %. I hired you as a PR and the mother of my child, guilty, made u manager. I’m not drunk or high. You are a fraud. As lonely as Jamil confessed to me, you will never amount to nothing. I’m back! How the fuck are you a manager without a billboard! My son is so hurt not having is mom and I’m guilty too but respectfully fuck you Vanessa.”
