Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has publicly criticized music star Davido over his ongoing co-parenting dispute with his ex, Sophia Momodu.
The controversy began when Davido flaunted his wealth by spraying bundles of cash at his manager’s wedding, prompting Uche to question Davido’s priorities.
Uche pointed out the stark contrast between Davido’s extravagant spending on luxury items and his alleged reluctance to support his daughter, Imade. “Davido, stop living a fake lifestyle,” Uche urged. “When did you last call or visit Imade? You boast of 500,000-dollar diamond teeth and 2 million-dollar jewelry, yet you’re dragging Sophia to court over money she requested for their daughter’s care.”

Uche further admonished Davido to invest his wealth in his daughter’s well-being rather than luxury items. “Davido, invest your wealth in Imade, not diamond jewelry,” he said. “Any single mom supporting what Davido is doing to Sophia needs church prayer.”
The actor questioned Davido’s priorities, highlighting the disparity between his alleged wealth and his willingness to provide for his daughter. “You can afford 500,000-dollar diamond teeth and 2 million-dollar jewelry, but not the little mama of your child asks for?” Uche asked.
This isn’t the first time Uche has criticized Davido over his treatment of Sophia and Imade. Last year, he slammed Davido for gifting a new car to Ubi Franklin while allegedly financially torturing Sophia. Uche emphasized that charity begins at home and suggested that Davido should prioritize his daughter’s needs.
The ongoing custody battle between Davido and Sophia has been contentious. Davido filed a lawsuit seeking joint custody of Imade, claiming Sophia was denying him access to their daughter and extorting money from him.
