Filmmaker Biodun Stephen has sparked controversy with her reaction to the viral video of KWAM1 reconciling with his son, Abdulmalik, and ex-partner Bisola Badmus.
A video circulating social shows the veteran Fuji icon KWAM1 embracing his son on stage, with Bisola breaking down in tears after acknowledging him as his son during an event.

Biodun Stephen expressed irritation, questioning why actresses were celebrating and congratulating Bisola, given the circumstances.
She felt KWAM1’s belated acknowledgment was insincere, especially since he initially denied paternity.
She said; “Many many years he had stated that he is not the father of this child but why now sir? Why now? After you have made the woman go through so much ridicule, through embarrassment.”
She also criticised Bisola for allowing their son to greet KWAM1, considering the music star had publicly shamed her.
The video has sparked mixed reactions, with some supporting Biodun Stephen’s stance and others defending KWAM1’s actions.
Bisola has since expressed gratitude on social media, writing “Alhamdulilai” multiple times. Her colleagues, including Kemi Korede and Faithia Williams, have also congratulated her on the reunion.
