Why I Brought Kolu Into my Circle Amid Ritual Allegations—Portable

Nigerian singer Portable has denied claims that he took Kolu from Abuja to Ogun State for ritual purposes, saying his only intention was to support and help him.

In a recent interview, the controversial artiste addressed the allegation, insisting there was no truth to rumours that Kolu was taken for a money ritual. According to him, he simply wanted to lend a helping hand.

Portable also pointed out that Kolu is older than him, jokingly describing him as someone who has a strong admiration for women.

Speaking about his career, the singer said the constant attention he receives has worked in his favour.

He explained that the publicity surrounding his name has helped him remain relevant in the entertainment industry and continues to open doors for him.

He also noted that he has brought back his trademark hairstyle, adding that his current look reflects how far he has come.

He said: “I carry Kolu from Abuja go Ogun State. Some people say I wan carry am do money r!tual, but I told them I want to help him.

He continued: “Kolu too like women… Kolu is older than me. When I dey trend I gained a lot and I’m still trending. See the gain in my body and my face. You no see say I don come back with my hairstyle. Na lawyer say make I no dey carry am come court.”

Portable further revealed that his lawyer advised him against taking Kolu with him to court, although he did not disclose details of the case or why the advice was given.
