Danielle Edochie, the daughter of Nigerian actor Yul Edochie, has stated that she cannot date an internet fraudster, otherwise called a Yahoo boy.
Speaking in a video message shared via her social media page, Danielle claimed that ladies who date Yahoo boys are only attracted to them because of money.

She admitted that she also likes money but can’t be in her right senses and date a Yahoo boy.
She warned fraudsters to avoid approaching her for a romantic relationship.

“I will never romanticise the idea of being a partner of someone who defrauds people, whether physically or online. It’s shocking every time someone asks whether I’m into fraud boys. I don’t understand why I should carry my whole essence and give to someone who steals.
“A lot of ladies may be attracted to the huge amount of money those guys make, but not me. I love money too, but please, just stay far away from me,” she stated.
Meanwhile, Nigerian movie actor Ugo Nwoko stated that internet fraudsters are helping Nigeria’s economy.
Speaking during a video discussion, the actor questioned how ordinary civil servants earning modest salaries could cope with the increasing cost of accommodation and other necessities.
He pointed to the huge rent being demanded in cities such as Abuja and Lagos, arguing that many workers simply cannot afford the current rates.
He said: “Personally, I think Yahoo has helped keep the economy afloat. Do you expect a civil servant to afford house rent of N3 million or N5 million in Abuja?”
