Mercy Eke, the former BBNaija housemate, has revealed why she cannot marry or date a man who expects her to cook for him regularly.
Speaking in a recent episode of Toke Moments, the 35-year-old reality TV star said she only cooks when she is “in the mood”.
Eke made it clear that daily cooking is not her strength and advised any man with such expectations to look elsewhere.
“I can’t marry or date a man who wants me to cook for him regularly. I only cook once in a while when I am in the mood. If you want fresh food every day, hire a chef,” she said.
“It can’t be me. Love can never make me cook for a man every day. I’m not the woman for that kind of man. There are other women out there who will gladly do that, which is fine.
“That is why it’s important to marry ‘who has what you are looking for’.
“So, if you marry me and you are thinking you don’t eat overnight food, it’s not me. I can’t cook every day.
Meanwhile, the Reality TV star also opened up about the persistent misconceptions surrounding her personal life, firmly debunking claims that a married man funds her lifestyle.
In a candid interview on Toke Makinwa’s Toke Moments, the media personality addressed the biggest rumours head-on.
“The one that everybody knows is, oh, someone is funding my lifestyle, that I’m dating a married man. Apart from being pregnant every week,” she said, bursting into laughter with host Toke Makinwa.
