Gospel singer, Ebuka Songs, has broken his silence regarding his decision to leave Spotlite Nation, Moses Bliss’s record label.
In a recent interview on Open Up podcast, he said he decided to call it quit was because of his intention to focus on his own ministry.
He said: “I will always be grateful for the role Moses Bliss played in my life because as at that time, I had the anointing and gift but didn’t know all of these things professionally.
“So there was a lot that I learned and the platform opened me to a lot of things that I know right now and that are working for me now.
“I’m grateful for the journey that I’ve been through here but at this point now, this is a next level for me to focus on my ministry. And we are on our good space.
“I have a reason why I haven’t said anything since that time. I didn’t want to bring more conversations around that thing, so I just kept quiet about it.
“We all get to the point where we just want to be focused on the next phase of our lives, and because of the assignment of God upon my life.”
In December 2024, the founder of Spotlite Nation, Moses Bliss, said that Ebuka departed the label after just 11 months.
