Nkechi Blessing, the Nollywood actress, has disclosed the reason she took a long break from acting.
The thespian while appearing in a recent episode of Curiosity Made Me Ask hosted by content creator, Bae U Barbie, disclosed that someone anonymously placed her on ₦1 million weekly salary because she wasn’t earning much from acting.

The controversial actress explained that she decided to take a break from Nollywood due to the anonymous person’s gesture
In her words: “That is one of the things that made me took a break from the movie industry. If I shot a movie, I will not get one million,” she stated.
She continued saying, “Everytime I said, I had a script and need to go on set, he asked how much they were going to pay me there, and when i reply, 500k to 1m, he’d be like just relex, dont stress yourself and he pays me the money. He sent me more than the money I wanted and this is why at somepoint, I had to take a long break from acting.”
Although, the actress did not reveal the identity of the said Individual, she disclosed that he was a senior colleague, one she respected alot.
