Frank Edoho, the iconic Nigerian TV host best known for hosting the popular TV show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? for over a decade, is trending on X (formerly Twitter) after a heated online exchange with a user.
An X user who happens to be a lawyer, expressed disappointment at seeing Edoho now associated with promoting Bet9ja on TV.
The user lamented it as a downgrade from his legendary days hosting the educational quiz show, alleging that the sponsors had pulled out partly due to Edoho’s past marital issues while responding to a comment.

Edoho, ever active, fired back sharply accusing the user of deliberate mischief and misinformation, pointing out that the marital reference was unnecessary. He clarified that he left the show in 2017 on his own terms after contract renewal talks with producers Ultima Studios broke down not due to any sponsor pullout or personal scandals. He had briefly returned for a final season in 2022.
On another hand, Edoho dared another X user who share what he described has a defamatory post to tweet more defamatory post about him and get arrested.
The X user alleged that Edoho is a violent man who beats his wife and also has numerous children outside. The user went as far as alleging that the iconic tv host has HIV and has infected five women with the virus.
