Schoolchildren and teachers who were recently rescued after being abducted in Oyo State have expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigerian security operatives for their role in securing their freedom.
In a video circulating on social media, the victims thanked the President for making their rescue a priority and acknowledged the efforts of the various security agencies involved in the operation.

They described their return as a huge relief to both the victims and their families, noting that they believed the government’s commitment and the coordinated response from security personnel played a major role in bringing the ordeal to an end.
Speaking on behalf of the group, one of the rescued victims conveyed their gratitude to President Tinubu and the security operatives, commending them for their dedication and efforts throughout the rescue mission.

One of the rescued victims said: “Hello sir, our father, we are grateful. The President sir, we are grateful. We understand your commitment to our safety and we appreciate all you did for us. We could see it in your heart. Thank you very much.”
The rescued victim added: “And every security operative, they tried so much and that is why we are still alive now. We are very grateful to you. Thank you very much. Thank you sir. God bless you sir.”
