Foremost Nigerian recording artiste, Don Igwe, has explained why men shouldn’t open businesses for their partners.
According to the musician, marital problems often commence as soon as the husband spends his funds on his wife’s business. He explained this while speaking on a podcast.

“Your problem starts as a man the day you open a business for your wife or girlfriend. The day you empower your wife is the day your problem begins,” he explained.
Igwe went on to express distrust in the female gender.

He gave an example of a couple who were 50 years in marriage, only for the husband to later discover that out of the four children they had, it was only the last child that was biologically his.
“I have seen a couple that stayed 50 years in marriage and in the 50th year, they started having problems. This man had to go and do DNA, and this man found out that it i only the last daughter that brought about their issue that belongs to him.
50 years of a Christian woman who stays at home, who does not go out anyhow! Somebody you can vouch for!”
He went on to say any woman who is married but still uses her maiden name is not married.
“You are not married. You belong to your father’s house. Let your father that you are answering his name, marry you.”
