Glory Agbor, the wife of Dickson Agbor, who represents Obubra I in the Cross River State House of Assembly, has denied claims that her husband physically assaulted her.
The issue began when a video showing Glory with a bruised face went viral on social media, with allegations that her husband caused the injury during a domestic dispute.
The video quickly caused public outrage and brought attention to the lawmaker’s actions.

In response, the Cross River State House of Assembly suspended Dickson indefinitely, citing violent behaviour.
However, in a new video posted on social media, Glory called the allegations “baseless.” She said no such incident happened and suggested the original viral video might have been fabricated.
