
Popular Nigerian skit maker Carter Efe has lost his Instagram and TikTok accounts following a backlash from Wizkid fans, known as Wizkid FC.
The controversy began when Carter Efe criticized Afrobeat singer Wizkid during a TikTok live stream, calling him an “idiot” and accusing him of having too much pride.

Carter Efe’s comments were made in response to a comment where Wizkid referred to him as “my G”. Carter Efe responded by saying, “If Wizkid calls me my G, that means Lion don get belle. E no fit happen. That boy too get pride, idiot.” This statement sparked outrage among Wizkid’s fans, who threatened to report Carter Efe’s social media accounts.
As a result of the backlash, Carter Efe’s Instagram account with 1.8 million followers was taken down, and his TikTok account was also blocked. The skit maker took to social media to express his disappointment and frustration, posting “FC una collect my Instagram account of 1.8 million followers” and “This is getting too much, TikTok account gone, FC una betray me.”
In an attempt to resolve the situation, Carter Efe made an apology video, pleading with Wizkid’s fans to forgive him. He said, “Abeg make una forgive me Wizkid FC. Wizkid abeg no vexxx help me beg FC abeggggg I’m in severe pain.”
