Afrobeats superstar Wizkid whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, has achieved a groundbreaking milestone, becoming the first African artist to surpass 10 billion streams on Spotify.

He crossed the 10 billion threshold following a steady climb that saw him reach 9 billion in mid-2025 and 9.9 billion by late December 2025. The stream count includes the singer’s solo tracks, features, and collaborations, revealing his massive global influence and the growing popularity of Afrobeats.
