
Boluwatife Balogun, popularly known by his stage name Champz, is making waves in the Nigerian music scene following the successful release of his debut EP, “Champion’s Arrival“.
The 14-year-old son of Afrobeats legend Wizkid dropped the five track project on November 11, 2025, in Lagos, Nigeria, and has already seen remarkable success.
Within days of its release, the EP surpassed one million streams and claimed the No. 1 spot on several local music charts, an impressive feat for a debut artist.

Champion’s Arrival is a dynamic blend of Afrobeat rhythms and deeply introspective lyrics, offering a fresh sound that blends youthful energy with lyrical depth. The EP was produced by a team of rising Nigerian beatmakers, adding to the buzz surrounding Nigeria’s next generation of musical talent.
Proud father Wizkid was seen in a viral courtside interview praising his son’s creativity and dedication. “We love Champz new EP you know, he’s my kid.” Wizkid said.

However, with organic growth streaming milestones, and critical buzz already surrounding the EP, many believe this is just the beginning for Champz.
