Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Kunle Afoot has stirred controversy with his recent comments on infidelity.
Speaking in an interview with actress Biola Bayo, Afod said women cheat just as much as men but are more careful about it. He also linked the growing demand for DNA tests to cases of women’s infidelity.
According to him, “I believe women cheat just as men, only that they are smarter. Once a man starts cheating, his wife will notice. Men cheat with women, not with wood. The DNA issue we hear about today mostly has women as culprits.”
Afod went further to criticise the use of sex toys by women, saying it is no different from worshipping an idol. “Women now cheat to the extent of keeping many dildos. Is one not enough? You say you don’t want to cheat on your husband, but you buy a dildo. In my heart, you have already worshipped an idol,” he said.
Despite his strong views, the actor praised his wife, Desola for holding their marriage together. He admitted that their relationship faces challenges like every other home but described her as the “best woman ever.”

“Any home that survives the test of time, it is the woman that makes it work. My wife and I have our own issues like every family, but I want to tell her today that she is the best woman ever,” Afod added.
