Yhemo Lee, the popular Nigerian entertainer and influencer, has responded to social media users who speculated that he was having problems in his marriage.
This came after Yhemo Lee made a post online advising men not to “die for any woman,” adding that such sacrifice would only end up hurting them. In another post, he spoke about the importance of isolation, saying it may look like punishment at first, but it helps one gain clarity in silence.
The posts went viral and led many fans and followers to believe that his marriage to his wife, Thayour, which is less than a year old, was facing serious issues.

Reacting to the speculations, Yhemo Lee said he wasn’t surprised by the reactions. He accused “online in-laws” of looking for drama because they had not heard anything negative about him in a while.
“I wasn’t expecting any less from them. Since they haven’t had anything to feed on from me, they decided to cook madness for themselves,” he wrote.
He went on to urge men to start prioritising their own well-being. According to him, most of the men in The King’s Affection Movie (TKAM) have died, while the women are still alive.

He also referred to a video he saw online of a man crying over what his wife was putting him through, saying many of the comments under the post were cruel, especially from women.
“This is why I’m angry,” he said. “The agenda must always move forward. So even if I have a crisis, do you think I’ll come and announce it to people who haven’t eaten since yesterday?”
Yhemo Lee ended by saying he’s been bold and outspoken since watching TKAM, and no matter what people think, his family will continue to enjoy their lives.
“Make una dey there dey cry for Ijegun,” he added.
