Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has taken to social media to mock relationship expert Blessing CEO amid her public appeal for financial support over a reported stage four breast cancer diagnosis.
Blessing had earlier taken to her social media platforms to solicit funds for what she described as an urgent surgery.
In an emotional video, the relationship coach, who appeared bald, disclosed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, which had spread to both breasts and might require surgical removal. She said she felt overwhelmed and had exhausted her resources, prompting her to seek public assistance.
According to Blessing, she initially discovered a lump in her right breast last year. Though it was first declared non-cancerous, further medical tests later confirmed it was malignant and had spread to her left breast.
Reacting to the development, Martins shared a series of posts on her Instagram page, appearing to reference past controversies involving Blessing. In one post, she suggested that the illness was retribution, alleging that Blessing had previously mocked the death of another woman.
In her words: “What a day to be alive.. Dear Bimbo.. I see what you did there. Keep it up. Kpai them all! Either through Cancer or whatever means! They bragged and mocked your death, now it’s time to experience what pain feels like. Blessing no be for here u go jogodo!
“You mocked the death of a woman who did nothing to you and still went ahead to flaunt her husband after personalising him! God neither sleeps nor slumbers!
“His timing is always perfect. No, be only cancer you go face o, craze go later join! Agba amu!!!!”
In a separate post, Martins went further to allege that Blessing was not battling cancer and described the health disclosure as a “manipulative stunt” aimed at gaining public sympathy and raising money.
She claimed to have information from a neighbour and accused Blessing and her partner, businessman IVD, of fabricating the illness.
“Blessing CEO has no cancer! She stays in Lakwe and enter bus with IVD everyday. The Benz she posted as a gift from IVD was a stunt and for clout!
“There’s no money anywhere! Her old car was sold to offset feeding expenses! Both She and IVD are broke! This cancer stunt is a manipulativve stunt to gain sympathy and empathy from Nigerians in other to raise money to start a business for IVD.
“I have proof from her next-door neighbour! Blessing is playing on your emotions! She has no cancer and she’s not sick. Onye Oshi.”
Blessing CEO began dating IVD in 2023, following the death of his wife in October 2022. The businessman has faced multiple allegations since his wife’s passing, including accusations from her family, all of which have generated widespread public debate online.
