Nigerian Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido and his longtime partner, Chioma Rowland Adeleke, are officially married.

The singer while exchanging vows with Chioma during the lavish ceremony in Miami, Florida expressed love for his bride, describing her as his love, peace, and home.

According to the award winning singer, Chioma saw a part of him that the world does not see, and she still chose him.

He said in part, “Chioma, I have been on many stages, but this is the nervous I have ever been. You are my love, my peace, my home. You came into my life quietly and because the most loudest and beautiful part of it. You saw the real me, the me the world doesn’t see and you still choose me.”

The white wedding, comes after the couple’s traditional celebration in Lagos, was a star-studded event.

The guest list at the Miami event had in attendance business magnates, politicians, and music industry colleagues such as Adekunle Gold, Teni, and Zlatan Ibile, amongst others.

A pre-wedding dinner set the tone for a weekend of celebration that, according to Davido, came with a staggering $3.7m price tag.

“We spent $3.7m in cash. You should know what we are doing. It’s crazy,” Davido said, as he spoke about the scale of the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Chioma Adeleke, during a recent Interview hailed her husband’s unwavering support for her personal ambitions.

In an Interview, Chioma noted how she has faced numerous challenges over time, adding that the singer always encouraged her to pursue her goals.

“David cares a lot about my dreams. I’ve faced a lot of challenges over time, but he would always ask me, ‘Chi, apart from all of this, what do you actually want to do?’ then we would have plans and have stuffs coming out in the next few months. He really cares about my personal dreams,” she said.
