The insensitive comment appeared to deeply upset the actress, prompting a fiery response in which she placed heavy curses on the individual behind the message.
Expressing her pain and anger, Steve wrote:
“I’m bitter towards you and these words will hold weight in your life. For a girl like you to mock a situation you know nothing about for someone who has never offended you, you will suffer! And if you like, reject it all you want… you’ll forever carry the curse. It will never be well with you.”

She went on to reveal that she had recently suffered a miscarriage, a deeply painful experience she had been coping with privately.
“I’m not barren. I actually had a miscarriage and I’ve been battling with the pain of losing a child. But since you found it funny to mock me, in your own time, you shall be called barren. No man of God will lift this curse. With all the pain and burden in my heart, with the pressure you tried to mount on me, I now return it to you as a curse you’ll carry for life,” she added.
The actress’s emotional outburst has since sparked reactions online, with many fans expressing sympathy and calling for sensitivity around personal matters such as fertility and loss.
