Self-acclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, has come under heavy criticism after sharing a video of pounds on social media.
In the video that was shared and deleted immediately via Instagram on Thursday, the Grammy award winner was seen in the deleted clip flaunting wads and bundles of pounds.
Although the singer deleted the video almost immediately it was posted, netizens have called him out for going ‘low’ in showcasing his wealth.
One user while reacting wrote: “He Dey behave like new cat true true. You will never see Davido and wizkid doing all this on social media and they are still richer than him.”
Another wrote: “£ 1,000,000 pounds or at most £ 2, 000, 000 pounds raw cash to play and toy with. That’s is about N 2 billion to N 4 Billion Naira. Omo Burna dey ball hard Ooo.”
One remarked: “Get everything but no happiness nor go be our portion”
Another pointed out, “What’s the essence of having all this and not been happy. Happiness is a therapy.”
