Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has issued a stern warning to an online troll after receiving a disturbing threat.
This comes after an X user (Formerly Twitter) identified as Victor Uchenna Chibuzo allegedly threatened to hunt Seyi Law down and poison his children through their schoolmates.
In response, the comedian expressed confidence that justice would prevail, noting that although the user might continue to change identities, his day of reckoning is near.
He wrote, “Victor Uchenna Chibuzo, also known as Uchechukwu Samuel, @urchmedia. You can change names one million times. Your day of reckoning is near. Ride on.”
Since the last general elections, Seyi Law has come under strong criticism for declaring his support for President Bola Tinubu.
Recently, he reaffirmed his unwavering support for the present administration; stating that if Tinubu can’t transform Nigeria, no politician can.
“If Bola Ahmed Tinubu cannot redirect the ship of Nigeria, no politician currently can do it. None. Not Atiku, not Peter Obi. Not with what I know about all of them,” Seyi Law said.
Seyi Law stated that he would be much happier when his children enjoy the fruits of Tinubu’s policies, even if it means facing criticism in the present. “You might not support me today but I will want to be 70 and 80 and I see my children enjoying the benefits of the sacrifices I have made today,” he said.
