Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has urged men to end relationships with partners who do not respect them.
The actor, via the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter), advised men to stop enduring poor treatment in relationships, stressing that respect should not be compromised.
According to Edochie, respect is non-negotiable, and any partner who fails to offer it should be shown the door immediately.
“Men stop tolerating nonsense in the name of marriage or relationship. If your wife or girlfriend doesn’t respect you, dump her immediately and get someone who respects you. Your respect as a man is non negotiable,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, Nigerian actress Regina Daniels recently admonished women to walk away from ‘nonsense’ relationships.

The actress, who was previously married to a politician, Ned Nwoko, stated that women should avoid men in toxic relationships or marriage.
In a video on her Instagram page, she said that while reading a book, she noticed how women have mastered the art of appearing calm while emotionally carrying on. She noted how women with a pretty face, a good heart, a soft voice, and strength are dealing with a man who wants full access with half intention. Describing it as a dark type of shit.
