Yvonne Nelson Speaks Out on Being A Mother
Ghanaian actress and mother of one, Yvonne Nelson recently admitted that she has not been having it easy with being a mother to her baby girl, Ryan Roberts.
Nelson welcomed her child whom she had with British photographer, Jamie Roberts about a year ago.
According to the star actress, combining being a mother with her very busy schedule is something difficult for anyone.
“It’s been almost a year and some weeks and I can confidently say it has not been easy at all. The waking up at dawn when the baby is awake and all the things that come with motherhood is not an easy task,” she said
Her respect for her own mother and others have incredibly soared now that she has been challenged with the travails of motherhood, she went on to add.
“I have come to respect my mother after being a mother. She raised three children and gave us the best of training. The love for her has increased,” she said.
The actress made the decision to have a baby with her photographer boyfriend after turning down several proposals from other men because she believed that he was the right man to start something with.
Yvonne Nelson who was born in Accra is also a model, film producer and entrepreneur. She has starred in many movies, including 2013 movie “House of Gold” and “Any Other Monday” which she produced.
