Happy Father’s Day! Many people all over the world have taken the whole day to celebrate the first man in their lives and our way of celebrating is with this list of famous people with famous fathers. Here’s our list to celebrate fathers.
1. Kunle and Gabriel Afolayan
Kunle and Gabriel Afolayan are the sons of legendary theatre and film director Adeyemi Josiah Afolayan aka Ade Love. Ade Love was also an actor and producer and starred in other productions such as Ija Orogun, Taxi Driver and Iya ni Wura.
2. Angelina Jolie
Jolie is the daughter of Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe-winning actor Jon Voight. Her mother Marcheline Bertrand was also an actress and an activist.
3. Mayorkun
Many don’t know this but Mayorkun‘s father Sunday Adewale was an actor and a movie director. His mother Toyin Adewale was also a talented actress.
4. Paul Play
Long before Paul Play hit Nigerian radio stations in the early 2000s; his father I.K Dairo was a Juju superstar. The singer even famously changed his name to Paul Play so he would not live in his father’s shadow.

Emily in Paris star Lily Collins is the daughter of famous rock singer Phil Collins! The actress said her superstar dad was delighted to hear her sing in her 2016 movie Rules Don’t Apply.

Fela Kuti made music history and his sons Femi and Seun Kuti have paved their own ways for themselves. In fact, Femi’s son, Made Kuti has also taken up the mantle and released an album with his father. Also, Seun recently spoke about how hard it was growing up as the son of the music legend.
