Brace Up For the 2019 Abuja Literary Society Festival #ALitFest2019

Literature and Arts Lovers! Mark down July 13, 2019 on your calendars as the Abuja Literary Society is set to hold its annual literary festival from 9am to 11pm at the Exhibition Pavilion, Area 10, Garki Abuja, Nigeria that day.
 
The 3-day festival of literature and arts will feature workshops for younger writers, panel discussions and thrilling performances of film, drama, music and poetry. This year’s festival themed “Arts and Social Consciousness” is intended to go beyond limits to examine how art can be used as a tool to awake social consciousness and to change the world.
 
Some of the guests and facilitators at this year’s festival are: Chair of The Editorial Board, This Day Newspapers, Olusegun Adeniyi, Chika Oduah (Journalist and writer), Abubakar Adam (Journalist and writer), Ibrahim Tolu Daniel (Writer and Editor), Christopher Merrill (American poet, essayist and translator), Toni Kan (Writer and Editor), Aishat Abiri (Writer and Story Developer), Ummi Bukar (Founder and Managing Director, PAGED Initiative), Chuma Nwokolo (Writer and Publisher), Oyinkan Braithwaite (Writer) and many others.
