2020 BON Awards: ‘Living in Bondage’ Sweeps Multiple Categories
The 2020 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards took place over the past weekend in Ekiti State and there were some big winners last night. The biggest of those winners was Charles Okpaleke’s Living in Bondage: Breaking Free, which took home the coveted Movie of the Year Award.
In addition to that, the box office hit also earned Ramsey Nouah a Director of the Year Award; as well as accolades for the best use of special effects and movie with the best use of makeup.
Living in Bondage: Breaking Free also shared the award for best editing with Kayode Kasum’s This Lady Called Life; which in turn took the awards for the Best Screenplay, Best use of Food in a movie, and Movie with the Best Production Design.
