2022 Big Brother Naija returns on July 23, 24
The organisers of Big Brother Naija reality Tv show have announced July 23rd and 24th as the commencement of the season seven edition of the show.
Multichoice Nigeria made the announcement on Tuesday in a press briefing.
Busola Tejumola, head of content and West Africa channels of Multichoice Nigeria, said it will air from 7 pm on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29 with a simulcast on Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban, and Africa Magic Family.
Below are some things to note as this year’s edition of the reality tv show draws nearer:
- The reality show will premiere with two opening ceremonies on July 23 and 24 by 7pm.
- The headline sponsor for BBNaija season 7 is Pocket by Piggyvest and the associate sponsor is Flutterwave.
- The winner of the BBNaija 2022 season goes home N50 million cash prize with another N50 million worth of prizes.
- This year’s edition of the show will run for 72 days and end on October 2, 2022.
- 30 fans of the show will each win 1 million Naira.
- For this year’s edition, there will be no SMS voting as fans will now be allowed to vote for their favourite housemates for free on BBNaija’s official website and mobile app as well as on the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps.
The Big Brother Naija is a reality competition television show, where 12 to 21 contestants live together in an isolated house and also compete for the large cash prize.
In the past, the big brother produced multiple winners; changing the lives of many to celebrity status.
Whitemoney won season five edition of the show tagged “Shine Ya Eye” edition.
