Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, was reportedly involved in a confrontation with his estranged wife, Natasha Osawaru, during an event in Abuja on Friday night.
The reported incident occurred at the grand opening of Faze’s 90s Lounge in Abuja, where 2Baba was scheduled to perform.
A senior member of the singer’s management team confirmed that a confrontation took place at the venue, but alleged that Natasha arrived with security personnel and some men who attempted to abduct the singer.
The source claimed that the situation escalated into a clash between Natasha’s group and members of 2Baba’s team.
The management source further alleged that 2Baba and Natasha had been separated for more than two months.
However, details surrounding what triggered the confrontation remained unclear, and there was no independent confirmation of the allegation that an abduction attempt took place.
It was also unclear whether anyone was injured or arrested during the incident. Efforts to obtain Natasha’s account were reportedly unsuccessful at the time of filing the report.
The reported clash comes amid heightened public interest in the relationship between 2Baba and Natasha.
The singer had previously ended his marriage to actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia and later began a relationship with Natasha.
The two subsequently formalised their relationship in a private traditional wedding ceremony in July 2025, just months after 2Baba publicly confirmed their romance and proposed to Natasha
